Hey Guys, Glad you finally put a thread in for Seki. I usually board Suginohara when I come up from Kansai but love coming to Seki for a change. Some days the powder is so good there you need a snorkel.  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin One local told me it's the snowiest place in Japan. Get outta here! Is that true? I would've thought somewhere like Hokkaido or further north. Did you also know that Seki Onsen was the only Japan ski resort represented in the Travel Channel's recent "Skiers World" series?

Well, as with so many things in Japan...it may be true...it may be not...depending on who is providing the stats...

Only research I could quickly find was this...
Japan's Niseko resort area, which averages an astonishing 595 inches per season, is No. 2 in the world.

Anyone can do research in Japanese? I'd be interested to know...
