Hi.

I'm a M40, from Sydney Australia.

I have visited Shiga Kogen twice, this year in January and the January before that. Eight days each time. My 65yo+ buddy and I are finding this year we would like to explore more of the resorts in the Nagano region.

We ski in Perisher though only a handful of weekdays per season mainly because of our snow-quality fussiness and effort required to travel there.

We are, as a consequence, seeking to spend more time in Nagano in January.

Seen some of MG's friendly posts on the SJ ski.com.au forum (which I lurk) and led here because of Google juice.  Grin

edit: corrected wrong reference.

Hi Joe, and welcome.  Smiley

Surprised to hear about my posts coming up on SJ as I haven't posted there for a long time. Lots of useful information there but too much politics and flaming. Just spend most of my time on ski.com.au which is a super friendly and useful site.

Can't help too much with Shiga questions but any general Japan/Nagano stuff fire away.

Cheers, MG

I meant forums.ski.com.au. Sorry about that. Up late last night and some wires got crossed.  Undecided

Thanks for the welcome.
