Myoko shuttle buses

Hi Crew
I just registered on the site. I've had a good read of all the forums and there's some great Myoko info on here.
Anyway, just thought I'd ask a question about Myoko transport options
Am thinking of spending a month or so in Myoko this coming winter and buying a season pass. I've searched the net for info about resort shuttle buses, but it's hard to get any English info, and I'm hoping someone can help out with this
Do the Myoko resorts un free/cheap shuttle buses within the area? I was at Hakuba a few years ago, ad it was relatively easy to get around between the resorts - is there something similar at Myoko?
We were thinking of staying at a pension near Suginohara, but definitely wanted to spend at bit of time at Ikenotaira and Akakura as well. Is it possible to get around between these areas easily? I think taking alot of taxis will be a bi out of our price range
Thanks

No problems Spook, there's a free shuttle during winter.

Keinan bus can also get you to Hakuba, Nozawa and Shiga, although it's a little pricey.
If you catch the train one stop to Kurohime there are eleven shuttles per day from Kurohime station to Madarao and Tangram, so you can check them out too.

Hope this helps.

Just found out there will also be a daily shuttle between Akakura Onsen and Seki Onsen for 2009/10. The bus will leave the Akakura Bus Terminal at precisely 8.30am - so don't be late!
The shuttle returns from the Seki Onsen Ski Area parking lot at 4pm. The service will operate daily during the season and the cost will be 1,000 yen each way.
