Myoko Kogen Snow Report 13th February 2014
It’s snowing again in Myoko
Myoko Kogen Snow Report
The temps have warmed up, it was only -2 this morning in town, but the good news is that it’s been snowing for a few hours and left a fresh topping of 5-10cm. Not big fluffy gentle flakes – but the snow is incredibly light and dry for the temperatures. The wind has picked up in the last half hour and is blowing from the North so its nice and cold.
The snow is expected to continue through to Sunday then it starts warming up a bit again.
Congrats to Torah Bright for her silver medal win last night.
With the cold conditions yesterday there was some avalanche danger present so Charles was out and about with the ski patrol at Akakura Kanko. Fortunately not too much call for him.
