Myoko Kogen Snow Report 17th March 2011

Please note: Due to the earthquake on March 11, Scheduled rolling black outs will be happening around the country to save power until the power grid can be repaired, Akakura Kanko, Akakura Onsen, Ikenotaira and suginohara resorts will be closed today to comply with these power cuts, Myoko Snowsports will also be closed, everything will be back up and running tomorrow (the 18th) and will be business as usual! Today is the day to rest those achy ski muscles, and have a sake and an onsen, Kampai!

Commentary: At the time of writing this the snow was coming down hard and fast, with the resorts being closed today there will be lots of fresh snow to explore tomorrow!
