Myoko Kogen Snow Report 18th March 2011

It’s that time of the season where everything is ramping down, spring time skiing is kicking in, having said that we have had 80cm in the past 48 hours! the snow reports will now be slowing down and not being so frequent, thanks for watching this year everyone, hope you had a great season weather you were making turns in Myoko or another mountain somewhere else in the world, see you next season! 🙂

48 Hour Snow Fall: 80cm!!

Current Snow Depth at Base: 285cm

Current Snow Conditions: Powder!!

Commentary: Just when you think it’s all over the heavens opened up and it’s been snowing heavily for a good 48 hours now, we’ve had over 80cm in the last 48 hours, and it’s supposed to be spring time!

Current Base Temperature: -5.5°c at 8:00am

Current Weather: Overcast

Current Visibility: clear
