Myoko Kogen Snow Report

A quick report because, hell, we want to go and hit the slopes! We called it right. Today is an absolute corker of a day; clear blue skies, sun is shining, nice cold air temps (it was absolutely freezing last night!) and dry snow.

It’s a beautiful day at Myoko Suginohara (see pics below courtesy of the resort). If you go up to the top today you’ll be able to see Mount Fuji.

Current snow and weather conditions in Myoko now

24 Hr Snow Fall: 10cm

Current Snow Depth at Base: Around 2.9m base at Akakan and less at others

Current Snow Conditions: Nice dry firm base with a dusting of snow from early last night

Current temperature: -6° at 8:30am

Current Weather: Perfect bluebird day

Current Visibility: Perfect, some people are seeing Mt Fuji from Suginohara
