Myoko Kogen Snow Report
There’s been about 20cm of snow overnight and has continued on and off this morning. Wherever you go there will be plenty of fresh to plunder!
If you are driving please be careful out there. Leave plenty of time as there have been a lot of expressway closures. The Japan Meteorological Agency issued the first heavy snowfall warning for central Tokyo in 13 years yesterday. Snow accumulation there reached 27 cm, the heaviest snow in the Japanese capital since January 1969.

Madarao Kogen Snow Report
Over in Madarao Kogen they’ve continued to have more snowfall with 10cm overnight. Cloudy and reasonably cold this morning with the base at -5.5 ℃. Currently 220cm base with falls continuing and the snow is in great condition. This is the view yesterday out in the backcountry.
