We have windy conditions here today in Myoko, with light to moderate rain forecast for this afternoon which should turn to snowfall tonight. Temperatures are hovering around 3c today with wind at 40kmh from the East. Temperatures will drop down to -11c tonight when this front hits and the snow arrives.
At Akakura Kanko the Gondola and Hotel No, 5 are currently on wind hold. Ginrei No3 & No.5. are currently the only lifts in operation at Akakura Onsen. Ski patrol are working hard to get the rest of the resort up and running. Some lifts are also not operating at Suginohara.
