Myoko Snow Report 11 December 2018 – First of the season!

Current Conditions:

Welcome to season 2018/2019! After a slow start to December, we’ve had a nice total of 70cm fall in the last few days! Akakura onsen opened two chairs today and I only saw two others out there…

24 Hour Recap:

It continued to snow for most of yesterday and cleared up to give us partly cloudy skies today.

Weather Outlook:

We’re in for a little sleet/rain tonight, however this isn’t all bad news. A dose of rain after all this snow will consolidate the base we have and settle the vegetation. Temps dropping tomorrow and more snow on the way! We’re expecting at least another 30cm by Saturday, with periods of sun.
