Myoko Snow Report – 14 January 2015

Myoko Snow Report

14 January 2015

Blue skies and warm temperatures for most of the morning today with no wind and a max temp of 4c.

With no recent snow in the past 2 days, the groomers will be the pick of the riding, and any slopes that don’t see too much sun.

A storm front will move in over the evening bringing a small amount of rain to the bottom of the mountain. By Thursday morning the rain will have turned to snow on lover elevations and we should see an accumulation of up to 15cms later on that night.

Get down to the Yuki Sake bar between 7:00pm and 10:00pm for some locally made sake and cocktails.

And just a little bit of trivia. Seki Onsen would have the deepest skiable base in the world today at 450cm!
