Myoko Snow Report
29 December 2014
Warm slushy conditions out there today with a max temp. of 0c at Akakura Kanko. We can expect thick fog down to low elevations, shutting down visibility all round the Myoko Kogen area.
The warm temperatures and moisture have made for heavy snow conditions, with sleet and rain falling in the Akakura village.
Tomorrow should see temperatures staying around -3c with winds increasing to 25kph from the East.
The final day of 2014 should be colder with a front approaching, bringing us substantial new snow for the New Year! Head over to Akakura Onsen for free Miso Ramen on the 31st. Don’t forget the sunrise ski at Akakan on New Years Day.
Awesome day at Myoko Suginohara yesterday
Don’t forget to keep up with the snow progress via our Myoko webcams.
