Myoko Snow Report 31 December 2016: Current Conditions
Partly cloudy and very cold this morning in Myoko. The snow is still dry and light.
24 Hour Recap
After our epic start yesterday morning the snow mostly cleared up by the afternoon. Cold overnight temps have kept the snow light and dry.
Sunshine in the forecast for today, however if you look at the maps from snowforecast.com below, there’s a lot of moisture and cloud cover surrounding us (blue areas). There’s also only a few cm of snow in the forecast for us for the next six days. However, taking a look at the maps again, there’s a lot of snow throughout Honshu during this whole time as shown in green and orange. So I’d say there’s a good chance we’ll be getting quite a bit of snow.
