Kurohime Kogen Snow Park
OverVIEW
Kurohime Kogen Snow Park (黒姫高原スノーパーク) in Nagano prefecture is a medium sized ski resort with 8 ski lifts that offers skiers a respectable 430 metres (1411 feet) of vertical descent with 11 main trails/pistes. Kurohime Kogen is best suited to beginner skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for both expert and intermediates.
This resort is excellent for families with younger kids and there is a junior ski school available for small children. Numbers often tend to be low so there is a good chance of almost 1:1 attention.

Tokyo Ski Buses to Kurohime Kogen
Between December and April Travex runs a ski bus service direct from Tokyo Station or Ikebukero to Kurohime-Kogen Ski Area
Ski Bus Club also runs both night and day bus services between Tokyo Station, Shinjuku and Ikebukero to Kurohime-Kogen.
The cost for both services is 4,000 yen one way or 7,500 yen return.
