Myoko Kogen Snow Report 15th January 2012 – and again!

The Myoko snow gods decided yesterdays 1.1metres wasn’t enough snow for us, so they decided to bless us with another 48 this morning, phoar!

24 Snow Fall:48cm

Current Snow Depth at Base:over 3.5 metres

Current Snow Conditions: More powder

temperature: -3.5° at 8am

Current Weather:snowing lightly

Current Visibility:fair

This is to give you a bit of an idea what the snow banks are looking like, this isn’t a small van.

More digging in the carpark this morning.

Myoko Kogen Snow Report 13th January 2011

24 Hour Snow Fall: 1.14metres (no i’m not joking, it’s puking!!)

Current Snow Depth at Base: 230cm

Current Snow Conditions: Powder, if your a carver who loves the groomers, maybe stay in the onsen today and leave the powder to the rest of us 😉

Commentary: So much snow it’s crazy and it’s still coming down hard!

Current Base Temperature: -6°c at 8:00am

Current Weather: Overcast and snowing

Current Visibility: fairly clear at the bottom, with thicker fog patches up top
